Seasons of the Cross

After Christmas our trees were recycled; with the branches remove the truncks were nailed together as a cross to provide a focus for the Sunday services in Lent and the Easter seasons.


Lent - we lay our sins on the cross. Buy Fairtrade and end exploitation Make Poverty History Abolish slavery Eliminate child labour No more torture Recycle to protect the Earth	Good Friday - such love He shows, His blood he sheds. For us He chooses to die, we are restored to God.	Easter Sunday - He is risen, glorified and alive for ever. We are sure He is God, we can meet Him here and now.
